Two Weeks

They say its a sign of intelligence when you toddler starts to make up their own words. Starts to create a new language. Owen has created a new word lately that he uses constantly. He uses it when he describe where he always wants to and most importantly who he always wants to see.

As I tucked him in tonight, he used it one last time, "I need madeleine-buddy-stini-julianne." He says it so smoothly and so quickly. Its painfully he must see all four of them, at once, immediately.

"We'll see them soon." I said.

"In two weeks?" He asked.

"Yes, Two weeks," I said because in Owen's language "two weeks" means a very long time.

"And we play baseball," he said as he yawned a rolled over. Baseball means the absolute most fun thing in the world. Which, in two weeks, he will get to do with the absolute most fun people in the world.
