My First Fan Letter

Dear Blog Fans,

I feel the need to check in with all of you. First of all, thank you for all of the word of encouragement. I have loved hearing from all of you and appreciate the time you spend reading my blog. It really means a lot because I know time is a very precious resource.

I realize that I have gotten a little caught up in the fanfare. I even got the kids dressed today in case any paparazzi were waiting outside my home. My celebrity status has made it a little difficult for me to keep focused on my writing. Essentially, everyday I should be posting a rough draft, full of typos and sentences that just don't sound right. Things that would, could or will be fixed in future drafts. But I couldn't let you all think for a second that I couldn't spell or couldn't describe my daughter's trantrum in the most eloquent way possible, could I?

This year and this blog is going to have to be about writing for 365. Next year I will start a different blog, Entertaining for 365 or make that Entertaining for 100, or Wednesdays with Jennie or something else that enables me to post finished pieces.

So my blog will get back to how it was meant to be, pure, raw, full or errors but hopefully still full of insight and depth and emotion that I write without thinking or deleting or stopping. I already see a typo in the first paragraph that I am going to leave. Sorry, fans, you are going to have to take off your editing glasses and just enjoy the ride with me.
