I think my daughter will be the youngest child in history to stop believing in Santa Clause. Its not just because she is relentless, curious and always asking questions. But more because I am the worst mother in history at trying to uphold the tradition.
Tonight Josie kept asking me question after question in an attempt to stall bedtime. "Well where's the sleight? How's it get here? Where is my present? How does he make it? When will I see him? What if I stay up and look out the window all night?"
I just can't keep this up, I thought as I answered her last question. If it weren't for her intense and very real fear of being on the naughty list, I think I would probably just tell her the truth.
