Sunday Fun

By 10:30 am, I had done more today than I usually do in a week. We went to church. We went to O'Henry's to get Josie, Owen and my dad a donut. My dad ran into Nob Hill to get cinnamon rolls for the rest of us. Eagle eye Tina spotted that the new Mexican restaurant a 100 yards on the other side of the shopping center was open for brunch. We left my dad in Nob Hill to check if the Mexican restaurant had chilaquiles . While I was ordering the chilaquiles, my dad spotted the car and walked over. I came back to the car and drove everyone a few stores over to Starbucks. My dad went in for the lattes. I looked down and noticed my dad got the wrong cinnamon rolls. We left my dad at Starbucks and drove over to get the right cinnamon rolls. Then we picked up the freshly made chiliqueles. As we were driving back to Starbucks, we saw my dad walking in the middle of the road with lattes and a Starbucks bag that held a little bear for Josie.

Most people who have ever held a conversation with me know that I like to give Morgan Hill a hard time for havng nothing to do. Today, it was painfully clear that the only boring thing about Morgan Hill is me. Boring isn't an option when my mom and dad are in town.

They are leaving tomorrow morning. Sad for my family and sad for Morgan Hill. Neither will be nearly as fun without them.
